Once you venture beyond the touristy areas in Bali, you will notice that few people can speak English. If you want to get to know the people around you, and get what you need or where you want to go, you will need to be able to speak some Bahasa Indonesia, and the Indonesian people will really appreciate your effort.
Partnering with Cinta Bahasa Language School, in this 3-hour short course, you will learn and practice all the words, phrases, numbers, negotiating and speaking skills you will need to get by when travelling anywhere in the country. This very basic but comprehensive introduction the language is perfect for short-term visitors who would like to be able to communicate at a basic level and “get by” when meeting, greeting, shopping asking for directions and most importantly, asking for assistance and help.
The course also introduces Indonesian culture and etiquette, the do’s and don’ts when travelling in Indonesia to help you and those around you to feel at ease while avoiding any unnecessary misunderstandings. You will also receive a language “cheat sheet” to help you remember and build on what you have learned in the class.
Courses will be held at Hubud every Saturday, at 9:30 am – 12:30 pm and the course fee is IDR 250,000.
